ABOUT TRUTH & LIES (1)

1. What does the Book of Proverbs say about Truth versus Lies?

a) 10 You will become wise, and your knowledge will give you pleasure. 11 Your insight and understanding will protect you 12 and prevent you from doing the wrong thing. (Proverbs 2:10-12)

b) 3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart (Proverbs 3:3)

c) 12 What are worthless and wicked people like? They are constant liars. (Proverbs 6:12)

d) 1 Listen as Wisdom calls out! Hear as understanding raises her voice! 6 Everything I say is right, 7 for I speak the truth and detest every kind of deception. (Proverbs 8:1, 6-7)

e) 5 The thoughts of the righteous are just, but the counsels of the wicked are deceitful. (Proverbs 12:5)

g) 5 Honest people hate lies, but the words of wicked people are shameful and disgraceful. (Proverbs 13:5)
