FOOD FOR THOUGHT | DEUTERONOMY 12:2-3
0. Introduction
a) There are is so much food for us in the Bible. We are urged to feed on whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, and if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8).
1. Food for Thought
a) Removing heathen "altars" from our lives.
Deuteronomy 12:2-3 New King James Version (NKJV)
2 You
shall utterly destroy all the places where the nations which you shall
dispossess served their gods, on the high mountains and on the hills and
under every green tree. 3 And you shall destroy their altars, break their sacred
pillars, and burn their wooden images with fire; you shall cut down the
carved images of their gods and destroy their names from that place.
