CHRIST'S SECOND COMING

1. Christ second coming

a) We have already seen God's promises in the Old Testament that a Deliverer, a Prophet, Priest and King would come. Here on earth the Lord Jesus Christ as Prophet made known the mind of God. Now in heaven, as Priest He prays for us. Soon He will return as King of Israel.

b) When he comes in glory, His bride, the church, be with Him. Before this happens, the church must go to meet Him. The Rapture takes place when the church rises to meet the Lord in the air, 1 Thessalonians 4:17. This will be followed by the Judgment Seat of Christ, His return to earth in glory, and the Kingdom which will last for a thousand years. The Man of Galilee is now glorified in heaven. Soon He will be glorified on earth among men.
