WHEN GOD REMEMBERS, HE WILL SURELY ACT

1. When God remembers, He will surely act

a) Here are some Scriptural evidences:

i) God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.

@1. Genesis 8:1 New King James Version (NKJV)

8 Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.

ii) God delivered Lot from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah

@1. Genesis 19:27-29 New King James Version (NKJV)

27 And Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the Lord. 28 Then he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain; and he saw, and behold, the smoke of the land which went up like the smoke of a furnace. 29 And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities in which Lot had dwelt.

iii) God opened Rachel's womb.

@1. Genesis 30:22-24 New King James Version (NKJV)

22 Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb. 23 And she conceived and bore a son, and said, “God has taken away my reproach.” 24 So she called his name Joseph, and said, “The Lord shall add to me another son.”

iv) God caused Hannah to conceive and bore a son, Samuel.

@1. 1 Samuel 1:19-20 New King James Version (NKJV)

19 Then they rose early in the morning and worshiped before the Lord, and returned and came to their house at Ramah. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the Lord remembered her. 20 So it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked for him from the Lord.”

v) God had mercy on Ephraim

@1. Jeremiah 31:20 New King James Version (NKJV)

20 Is Ephraim My dear son?
Is he a pleasant child?
For though I spoke against him,
I earnestly remember him still;
Therefore My heart yearns for him;
I will surely have mercy on him, says the Lord.

vi) God opened the rock and water gushed out for the children of Israel

@1. Psalms 105:42-45 New King James Version (NKJV)

42 For He remembered His holy promise,
And Abraham His servant.
43 He brought out His people with joy,
His chosen ones with gladness.
44 He gave them the lands of the Gentiles,
And they inherited the labor of the nations,
45 That they might observe His statutes
And keep His laws.

Praise the Lord!
