1. The God of Truth
a) Truth is not truth unless it meets God’s definition of truth. Truth can not be relative unless it is relative to the God of Truth, anything less is deception. Truth is a person.
b) Jesus says,
(John 14:6 NASB)
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
2. Other Scriptures
(Proverbs 14:22)
Do they not go astray who devise evil? But mercy and truth belong to those who devise good.
(Proverbs 16:6)
In mercy and truth Atonement is provided for iniquity; And by the fear of the LORD one departs from evil.
(Proverbs 20:27-28)
The spirit of a man is the lamp of the LORD, Searching all the inner depths of his heart. {28} Mercy and truth preserve the king, And by lovingkindness he upholds his throne.
