b) Here is a brief biography of such a person during Bible times.

2. Jehoahaz, King of Judah

a) Jehoahaz, fourth son and successor of Josiah (609-608 BC). His mother's name was Hamutal. He became King at age 23, and only reigned three months. 

b) Pharoah Neco removed Jehoahaz from the throne and sent him to Egypt, where he later died. The Pharoah demanded an annual tribute from Judah, and appointed Eliakim as the new King of Judah. Eliakim's name was changed to Jehoiakim. The story of Jehoahaz is found in 2 Kings 23:31-34, and 2 Chronicles 36:1-4. 

c) The name Jehoahaz means "God has held firmly."
