PRAYING GOD'S WILL | REBELLIOUS (1)

1. Praying God's Will

a) What should you pray for? Scripture is clear that you should pray God's word. At the same time, you must never forget that God is sovereign and that He is not obligated to a name-it-and-claim-it theology. God will always do what is best. But at the same time you will do well to understand that when you pray God's word, you are actually praying both the mind and the perfect will of God for yourself.

b) If you follow a systematic plan of praying God's will, you will see dynamic growth take place in your life. You will become the man God intended you to be.

2. Rebellious

a) Lord God, through the power of Your word  I pray that no spirit of rebellion will ever enter into my life. Through the praying of Your word keep me free from any rebellious spirit or attitude. I pray to You and I thank You in Jesus' precious name. Amen.

3. God's Word

a) 1 Peter 2:15 New King James Version (NKJV)

15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.

b) 1 Peter 1:13-15 New King James Version (NKJV)

13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; 15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct.

c) 1 Samuel 15:23 New King James Version (NKJV)

23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft,
And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of the Lord,
He also has rejected you from being king.”
