IN SPIRIT'S POWER

1. In Spirit's Power

a) Featured Scripture text:

1 Corinthians 2:4-6

4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought.

b) Here we see Apostle Paul advocating the demonstration of the Spirit and of power.

c) Many Christian teachers come by. They are able to teach and yet they have not demonstrated in the power of God.

d) How good it would be if their teaching is accompanied by practical evidence of the demonstration of Spirit's power. This convinces the people more when they see the reality of the Spirit and not just with enticing words of man's wisdom, nor the wisdom of this world. That's exactly what Apostle Paul is advocating!

e) We are to have nothing to do with such people having a form of godliness but denying its power (2 Timothy 3:5).
