a) Proverbs 22:4 King James Version (KJV)

4 By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that through humility, and the fear of You, are riches, honor, and life.

Lord God, cause me to be meek, humble, and to fear You.

b) Proverbs 22:5 King James Version (KJV)

5 Thorns and snares are in the way of the froward: he that doth keep his soul shall be far from them.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that thorns and snares are in the path of the disobedient, and the obedient will be far from them.

Lord God, cause me to be righteous, and obedient, and to be kept away from the thorns and snares in the paths of the wicked.
