a) Proverbs 22:10 King James Version (KJV)

10 Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that when the scorner is cast out, contentions will go out, and strife and reproach will cease.

Lord God, cause me to not be someone who scoffs, or scorns, and cause me to not be around those who do.

b) Proverbs 22:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 He that loveth pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that someone who loves pureness of heart, because of the grace of his lips, the king shall be his friend.

Lord God, cause me to love pureness of heart, for my lips shall be graceful, and You shall be my friend.
