THE SABBATH
1. The Sabbath
a) The Bible Sabbath falls on the seventh day or Saturday of each week and is observed from sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday. It is a memorial of God's creation and was made for ALL humans.
b) Jesus made the Sabbath day by resting on it during "creation week." He declared, in the Gospels, that he was the Lord of the Sabbath. Jesus' disciples and the early church kept God's Sabbath.
