1. Bible Verses and Quotes

a) Receive guidance, strength and encouragement by reading passages about death and related topics such as loss, grieving, and heaven. Read verses from the Holy Bible about death in relation to God, Jesus Christ, and the Christian faith. 

i) 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

ii) 2 Corinthians 5:8

We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

iii) Revelation 12:11

They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.

iv) John 14:1-2
