TRIPLE GRACE

TRIPLE GRACE

Triple grace can be understood in a few different contexts, often related to theological concepts or interpretations of divine favor. In Christian theology, grace is the unmerited favor of God toward humanity.

1. Salvific Grace

This is the grace that brings salvation, the unearned gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:8-9

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.

2. Sanctifying Grace

This grace involves the process of becoming more like Christ, being set apart for God's purposes, and growing in holiness through the work of the Holy Spirit.

 2 Corinthians 3:18

And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Philippians 2:13

For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

3. Sustaining Grace

This is the grace that provides strength and perseverance to believers, enabling them to endure trials and remain faithful in their walk with God.

2 Corinthians 12:9

But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Hebrews 4:16

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Together, these three aspects of grace—salvific, sanctifying, and sustaining—illustrate the fullness of God's provision and care for believers.

Triple grace emphasizes the comprehensive and multifaceted nature of God's grace, which covers every aspect of a believer's spiritual journey.
