FRIENDSHIP IS A RELATIONSHIP!

1. Friendship Is A Relationship!  

a) Friendship is a relationship whereas ministry is a work of a minister. They are two different things altogether. Relationship is affected when we allow ministry to overshadow our friendship. We may disagree in ministry but we cannot afford to lose the relationship. CHRIST CAME SOLELY FOR RELATIONSHIP! (Romans 5:8; John 15:13) Think about it!

Proverbs 18:24

24 A man who has friends must himself be friendly, 

But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Proverbs 13:20

20 He who walks with wise men will be wise,

But the companion of fools will be destroyed.

Proverbs 27:5-6

5 Open rebuke is better

Than love carefully concealed.

6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend,

But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

9 Two are better than one,

Because they have a good reward for their labor.

10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.

But woe to him who is alone when he falls,

For he has no one to help him up.

Colossians 3:12-14

12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
