FAITH

1. Faith

a) 1 Corinthians 13:13

And now remain these three: faith, hope, and love.

b) Listen with your spirit to 1 Corinthians 2:4-5. “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.” Beloved one, be blessed with faith that comes by the power of the Holy Spirit active in your spirit. Be blessed with faith that is anchored in the Holy Spirit’s testimony to the power of God, not based on human reasoning or philosophy or fickle human emotions.

c) Listen with your spirit to Romans 4:20-21. “Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was absolutely convinced that God was able to do anything he promised.” Beloved one, be blessed with unwavering faith like Abraham who left his native land and went with God wherever he led. I bless you with faith that would wait 25 years for the promise of God. I bless you with growing stronger and more persuaded by the power of your faith that brings glory to God. Be blessed with being fully satisfied that God is keeping his word to you, no matter how long it takes or how contrary your circumstances look. Be blessed with being fully assured that God is able and mighty to keep his word. Be blessed with being strengthened in faith by Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.

d) Listen with your spirit to 1 Peter 1:6-8. “In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith, of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire, may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy…” Beloved one, be blessed with faith that has been tested and proved genuine. Be blessed with seeing the joy ahead on the other side of all kinds of trials. Your faith will be strong and pure like gold. You will know how precious your faith is to God, more precious than gold. Be blessed with the praise, glory, and honor that it reflects on Jesus for you to trust him. His glory will be revealed to you when all of of God’s plans are made known. Be blessed with the faith that loving him produces and the inexpressible joy that believing him brings.

e) Listen again with your spirit to Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” Beloved one, be blessed with confident trust in your Father with all that is in you.You do not depend on your own insight or understanding, because it is skewed and incomplete at best. Be blessed with the “yada factor.” Yada is the Hebrew word that is translated acknowledge, perceive, understand, distinguish, be familiar with, be aware of in the closest sense, to know at the most intimate level. Be blessed with that kind of relationship with your Father. You will know your Father intimately and abide in his will and live in step with his ways in everything. Be blessed with knowing his personal and deep direction of your life.
