GO TO THE ANTS!
a) The wisdom of God is found in King Solomon.
1 Kings 4:29-34
[29] God gave Solomon great wisdom and understanding, and a mind with broad interests. [30] In fact, his wisdom excelled that of any of the wise men of the East, including those in Egypt.
[31] He was wiser than Ethan the Ezrahite and Heman, Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and he was famous among all the surrounding nations.
[32] He was the author of 3,000 proverbs and wrote 1,005 songs.
[33] He was a great naturalist, with interest in animals, birds, snakes, fish, and trees-from the great cedars of Lebanon down to the tiny hyssop which grows in cracks in the wall.
[34] And kings from many lands sent their ambassadors to him for his advice.
b) It encompasses a diverse interests in God's creations.
@1. Take a lesson from the ants, you lazy fellow. Learn from their ways and be wise! For though they have no king to make them work, yet they labor hard all summer, gathering food for the winter. But you-all you do is sleep. When will you wake up? "Let me sleep a little longer!" Sure, just a little more! And as you sleep, poverty creeps upon you like a robber and destroys you; want attacks you in full armour. (Proverbs 6:6-11)
c) Narrow mindedness is not in the wisdom of God. Open mindedness opens up your eyes to uncover and discover more of his wonderful creations!
d) James 1:5 tells us that if you ask for wisdom, God will give it generously without finding fault: “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.” Through wisdom you can get everything you want.
