1. Bible Verses and Quotes

a) Christians have freedom over sin and darkness when we follow Christ, so learn and memorize verses about freedom in Christ Jesus. 

Corinthians 3:17
Now, the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, he gives freedom.

John 8:36
So if the Son sets you free, you will indeed be free.

1 Corinthians 6:12
You may say, "I am allowed to do anything." But I reply, "Not everything is good for you." And even though "I am allowed to do anything," I must not become a slave to anything.

Galatians 5:13-14
For you have been called to live in freedom -- not freedom to satisfy your sinful nature, but freedom to serve one another in love.  For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
