b) It is a non-profit and non-denominational organization whose goal is to provide theological education online to Christian working adults through a flexible learning mode.
2. Our Curriculum
a) At present, Tyrannus Online Seminary offers academic programmes for Certificate of Theology, Diploma of Theology (DipTh) and the Bachelor of Theology (BTh).
b) The Tyrannus BTh syllabus is modelled after a 3-year full-time BTh program and the modules will be repeated before a cycle is completed. Thus, students may enter in at different points in the cycle.
c) Tyrannus Online Seminary runs all the modules for the DipTh and BTh on an online mode. Occasionally, physical classes may be held at the Tyrannus centre in Plaza Prima in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
3. Why Study With Tyrannus On-Line Seminary?
a) For many working people, physically locating oneself or with your family to a seminary to study for 3-4 years can be disruptive and costly. There are other alternatives like studying for the Theological Education by Extension (TEE) Programs which are conducted by some seminaries or doing an online course from overseas.
b) Or you can sign up with us to study online. What we offer is a theological program through blended learning, flexi mode, self-paced, and affordable cost. From the comfort of your own home or office, you can study and be equipped with the BTh which is a basic theological degree. While it may take a little longer to complete than a full-time 3-4 year theological program, at the end of the day you will be able to graduate with a BTh.
4. Online Journey Through The Bible Programme
a) Tyrannus has already launched online Journey Through The Bible Programme (with 4 credit hours) to give believers the panoramic view of the entire bible from Genesis to Revelation in one year. Our goal for the next 10 years is to reach out to 100,000 Jesus followers and to bless at least 250 retired pastors using our online platform to teach the word.
