FOOD FOR THOUGHT | NUMBERS 16:8-10
0. Introduction
a) There are is so much food for us in the Bible. We are urged to feed on whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, and if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8).
1. Food for Thought
a) Inappropriate ambition is greed in disguise.
Numbers 16:8-10 New King James Version (NKJV)
8 Then Moses said to Korah, “Hear now, you sons of Levi: 9 Is it
a small thing to you that the God of Israel has separated you from the
congregation of Israel, to bring you near to Himself, to do the work of
the tabernacle of the Lord, and to stand before the congregation to serve them; 10 and that He has brought you near to Himself, you and all your brethren, the sons of Levi, with you? And are you seeking the priesthood also?
