ANTICHRIST (1) | DENYING THAT JESUS CAME IN THE FLESH

1. Denying That Jesus Came In The Flesh

a) Did you know that whatever we do, it is either Christ or Satan that is being manifested in our lives?

b) What is the spirit of the Antichrist? “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.” (1 John 4:1-3)

c) “Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God.” Consequently, the spirit that does not confess this is the spirit of Antichrist. This spirit is against Jesus come in the flesh. This is a spirit that we meet everywhere. It was already active in John’s day, and is even more so now.

d) “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.” (Romans 8:29)

e) Christ is manifested in the flesh when we are conformed to the image of the Son. Satan wants to be the only one who is manifested in the flesh. When people are ill-tempered, offended, lovers of money, selfish, anxious, envious, etc., it is Satan who is being manifested. God’s call to us is to be saved from all this, and that Jesus may be manifested in us instead.
