OUR DAYS ON EARTH ARE AS TRANSIENT AS SHADOWS

1. Our Days On Earth Are as Transient As Shadows

a) We are not in control over our days on earth. In actual fact, our days are numbered... 70 or 80 years (Psalm 90:10)? 120 years (Genesis 6:3)? Some have died prematurely.

b) Your shadow points to your length of days. It all depends on where the light from the sun is shining. Either your shadow be shortened or lengthened.

"[9] For we were born but yesterday and know so little; our days here on earth are as transient (lasting only for a short time) as shadows."

c) Similarly, it is God, your everlasting light (Isaiah 60: 19-20) who determines your length of days.

d) God is good! He has promised us eternal life (John 3:16) even after our days are expired. Where would you be afterlife? With Him or elsewhere?  

e) So, stay true and be faithful to Him. Surely, you shall be with Him in the clouds or shall rise up from the earth when He returns! This is our privilege! It is so precious to closely have Jesus all the times! Amen!
