c) A particularly active individual, Hannah is strong-willed, resourceful, daring and assertive.
d) Hannah's prayer was the result of her personal encounter with the Lord. She now clearly understood more about the Lord than before.
e) Let's look at Hannah's prayer and derive some prophetic insights (PIs) from it:
1 Samuel 2:1-10
[1] "How I rejoice in the Lord! How he has blessed me! Now I have an answer for my enemies, For the Lord has solved my problem. How I rejoice! [2] No one is as holy as the Lord! There is no other God, Nor any Rock like our God.
PI 1: The Lord shall surely answer your prayers and he shall solve your problems! Why? Because he is holy and there is no other God like him!
[3] Quit acting so proud and arrogant! The Lord knows what you have done, And he will judge your deeds.
PI 2: The Lord knows everything that you have done and you shall be accountable to him.
[4] Those who were mighty are mighty no more! Those who were weak are now strong. [5] Those who were well are now starving; Those who were starving are fed.
PI 3: Don't be haughty. The Lord shall cause the weak to be strong and the weak shall rise up again! Those starving shall find divine providence.
[5] The barren woman now has seven children; She with many children has no more!
PI 4: The Lord has the power to open up your womb to have many children. Likewise he can close up your womb to remain childless!
[6] The Lord kills, The Lord gives life.
PI 5: Life and death is in the hands of the Lord. Your life span is determined by him.
[7] Some he causes to be poor And others to be rich. He cuts one down And lifts another up. [8] He lifts the poor from the dust - Yes, from a pile of ashes - And treats them as princes Sitting in the seats of honor. For all the earth is the Lord's And he has set the world in order.
PI 6: The Lord chooses to bring you honor as he wishes. He has the power to change things; to make something new for you. For everything in this world belongs to him!
[9] He will protect his godly ones, But the wicked shall be silenced in darkness. No one shall succeed by strength alone.
PI 7: The Lord shall protect and fight for you! He shall silence your enemies and they shall not succeed!
[10] Those who fight against the Lord shall be broken; He thunders against them from heaven. He judges throughout the earth. He gives mighty strength to his king, And gives great glory to his anointed one."
PI 8: It is foolish to fight against the Lord. Can you win? Surely you shall be broken instead. For he shall gives strength to his king and great glory to his anointed one!
