a) Proverbs 13:14 King James Version (KJV)

14 The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, turning men from the snares of death.

Lord God, cause wise teachers to turn me, and my fellow man, from the snares of death.

b) Proverbs 13:15 King James Version (KJV)

15 Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that good sense wins favor, but the way of transgressors is hard.

Lord God, cause me to increase in wisdom, grow in favor, and put away transgressions.
