PUT YOUR TRUST IN THE LORD
(Message by Tanny Keng)
1. Put Your Trust In The Lord
a) He cares for you. He loves you. And He wants the very best for you. Believing that will combat anxiety itself.
i) “Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?” (Matthew 6:27)
b) So put your trust in the Lord and rest in faith that He is always with you and that He will never allow anything to happen to you that you can’t bear. And that which He does allow to happen to you, He allows so that you can be sanctified through it.
i) “That the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 1:7)
ii) “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13)
iii) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5)
iv) “But Jesus looked at them and said to them, ‘With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’” (Matthew 19:26)
