PROMISES FROM THE LORD
(Message by Tanny Keng)
1. Promises From The Lord
a) All of these Bible verses for anxiety and worry can be weapons to fight off these enemies when you are tempted. Stand fast on these promises from the Lord and no situation will be able to cause you to come out of rest, no matter how much you are tempted. Even if it takes a long time for the situation to be sorted out. Even if the end result is not what you had hoped for.
i) “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)
ii) “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
iii) “So that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.” (Acts 17:27)
iv) “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’” (Hebrews 13:5)
v) “See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.” (Isaiah 49:16)
vi) “Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.” (Psalm 125:1)
vii) “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
