2. Heart

a) Loving God takes all of our hearts. It’s in the Bible, Deuteronomy 6:4, NKJV. “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.”

b) Our worship is meaningless if our hearts are not in it. It’s in the Bible, Matthew 15:8, NKJV. ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.’

c) How can we be prepared for Christ’s second coming? It’s in the Bible, Luke 21:34, NKJV. “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.

d) The things you hold dear, reveal where your heart is. It’s in the Bible, Matthew 6:20-21, NKJV. “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
