1. Bible Topica) To learn what the Bible has to say on a variety of topics affecting our everyday lives, we may find what we are looking for here.
2. Church Attendance
a) God is worthy of our worship. It's in the Bible, Psalm 100:4-5, NKJV. "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.
b) We attend church to meet with God. It's in the Bible, Habakkuk 2:20, NIV. "But the Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth be silent before Him."
c) Love for God is related to seeking Him at His house for worship. It's in the Bible, Psalm 27:4, NIV. "One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple."
d) Through going to church to connect with and support other believers, God can bring more people in. It's in the Bible, Acts 2:46-47, NKJV. "So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved."
e) God commanded convocations, or sacred assemblies, for Sabbaths. It's in the Bible, Leviticus 23:3, NKJV. "Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work on it; it is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings."
