CHURCH ATTENDANCE (3)
1. Bible Topica) To learn what the Bible has to say on a variety of topics affecting our everyday lives, we may find what we are looking for here.
2. Church Attendance
a) The Holy Spirit leads to unity of the body of Christ, which is the church. It's in the Bible, Ephesians 4:3-5, "endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism."
b) Christ is the cornerstone of the church, made of each of us to create a grand temple for God. It's in the Bible, Ephesians 2:19-22, "Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and the members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit."
c) Jesus set the example for us with His church attendance. It's in the Bible, Luke 4:16, NIV. "He went to Nazareth, where He had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day, He went into the synagogue, as was His custom. And He stood up to read."
d) When we are in heaven until eternity, we will be worshipping God together. It's in the Bible, Isaiah 66:22-23, NKJV. "'As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before,' declares the Lord, 'so will your name and descendants endure. From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will com e and bow down before me,' says the Lord."
