2. Pray Bible Promises

a) Proverbs 19:10 King James Version (KJV)

10 Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that it is not right for a fool to live in luxury, or for a servant to rule over princes.

Lord God, cause my heart to understand, just as ruling over others is meant for princes, the joys of holy living are meant for those whose heart is set on wisdom.

b) Proverbs 19:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that a man's discretion can defer his anger, and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.

Lord God, cause me to use sound judgment to control my anger, and mercy to overlook transgressions.
