2. Pray Bible Promises

a) Proverbs 19:16 King James Version (KJV)

16 He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who keep Your commandments keep their own soul, but those who are careless in their ways will die.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that to obey Your commandments is a kindness to myself, and to despise them is to seal my own destruction.

Lord God, cause me to keep Your commandments, and give life to my soul.

b) Proverbs 19:17 King James Version (KJV)

17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that he that has pity on the poor, lends to You, and those that have given, You will pay him again.

Lord God, cause me to have pity on the poor, lending to them, and looking to You for replenishment.
