2. Pray Bible Promises

a) Proverbs 19:12 King James Version (KJV)

12 The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favour is as dew upon the grass.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that a king's wrath is to be dreaded, and his favor to be eagerly sought.

Lord God, cause me to fear You, and to eagerly seek Your favor.

b) Proverbs 19:13 King James Version (KJV)

13 A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that a foolish son is his father's ruin, and a quarreling wife is like a constant dripping.

Lord God, first, cause me to be full of wisdom, and live wisely. Then, by my example, and through Your spirit, guide those around me to filled with wisdom, and live wisely.
