ROMANS 12:11

“Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.” - ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭11‬ ‭

Christians are called to offer their best to God, serving Him with joy and dedication. Our service to Him is not to be half-hearted or done out of obligation. Rather, it should be driven by genuine love and passion for Him.

Myles Monroe was a Bahamian evangelist and ordained minister, avid professor of the Kingdom of God, author, speaker and leadership consultant. His passionate love for God had impacted many national leaders, empowering them with the knowledge, inspiration, and perspective needed to lead with purpose, integrity, and a commitment to making a positive difference in their nations. He and his wife unfortunately died in a plane crash on November 9, 2014. Many leaders credited his teachings as instrumental in shaping their leadership styles, fostering a sense of purpose, and inspiring them to lead with excellence.

Romans 12:11 teaches believers the importance of maintaining zeal and spiritual fervor in their walk with God. It urges us to be passionate, wholehearted, and enthusiastic in our service, never allowing ourselves to become complacent or lukewarm. By doing so, we can experience a deeper and more vibrant relationship with God, and effectively carry out His purposes in our lives.

“God is the reason why even in pain, I smile; in confusion, I understand, in betrayal, I trust; and in fear, I continue to fight.” - Bella Swan.
