1. A Love Letter From God
a) What if God were to write a letter to you? It’d be a love letter!
b) Have you read the Bible as being God’s love letter to you? That’s what it is! I know you don’t deserve it — neither do I. That’s the point. God’s love is unconditional.
c) A love letter from God feels like a warm embrace from God. God speaks to you from his heart, to your heart, to reveal his deep love for you. Take time to read and re-read it, so these words from God's heart can sink deep into your own heart and bring deep healing and new strength.
i) I determined the exact time of your birth and where you would live. (Acts 17:26)
ii) You are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14)
iii) I knit you together in your mother’s womb. (Psalm 139:13)
iv) And brought you forth on the day you were born. (Psalm 71:6)
v) I have been misrepresented by those who don’t know me. (John 8:41-44)
vi) I am not distant and angry, but am the complete expression of love. (1 John 4:16)
vii) And it is my desire to lavish my love on you. (1 John 3:1)
viii) Simply because you are my child and I am your Father. (1 John 3:1)
ix) I offer you more than your earthly father ever could. (Matthew 7:11)
