1. Bible Topic

a) To learn what the Bible has to say on a variety of topics affecting our everyday lives, we may find what we are looking for here.

2. Incarnation

a) Although Jesus was God, He came to serve us and give His life to pay for our sins. It's in the Bible, Mark 10:44, NKJV. "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

b) It's not we are seeking after God, but God in Jesus came to seek we who are lost. It's in the Bible, Luke 19:10, NKJV. "for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

c) Jesus Christ, came as man and died on a cross. It’s in the Bible, Philippians 2:8, NKJV. “And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross."

d) Jesus took on humanity to show us who God is and what He really is like. It's in the Bible, John 14:7, NIV. "If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." and verse 9, "...Anyone who has seen me, has seen the Father."

e) Jesus came to give us eternal life – eternal life is knowing God. It’s in the Bible, John 17:1-3, NKJV. “Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”

f) Jesus Christ came in the human flesh and suffered and was tempted, so He can help us in our struggles. It’s in the Bible, Hebrews 2:17-18, NKJV. “Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.”

g) Jesus feels with you and knows your weaknesses – He can give you mercy and grace in your times of need. It’s in the Bible, Hebrews 4:14-16, NKJV. “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
