1. Introduction

a) People who do not have control over what they are doing, taking or using. The brain experiences pleasure - and releases an immediate reward, leading to further and more frequent use.

2. Steps to take...to overcome any addiction 

a) Admit you have a problem.

b) Realize any addiction can ruin your life.

c) Detach from bad influences.

d) Only GOD can deliver.

e) Understand the born again offer.

f) Start Bible Study.

g) Get connected to others.

h) Find truth and buy into it.

i) Be accountable.

j) Be transformed in your mind.

k) Enjoy life again!

l) You are destined to be a winner!

m) When wrong people leave your life, good things begin happening!

a) Ephesians 5:18 New International Version (NIV)

18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit,

i) GOD has a deal for you, if you choose to say "yes."

b) Romans 12:2 New International Version (NIV)

2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.

i) Not too bad, is it?  

ii) Can you succeed? Absolutely.

4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
