2. Pray Bible Promises

a) Jeremiah 14:1 King James Version (KJV)

14 The word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah concerning the dearth.

Lord, thank You for Your truth, that Your word was given to Jeremiah concerning the drought.

Lord, thank You for giving your word to Jeremiah, concerning the drought.

b) Jeremiah 17:5-6 King James Version (KJV)

5 Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.

6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

Lord, lead me away from trusting in man, and do not let me experience the emptiness that would follow.

c) Jeremiah 17:7-8 King James Version (KJV)

7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.

8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Lord, cause my heart to be Yours, and my trust to be in You. Placing my hope fully in You, let me bear Your fruit, and experience the fullness of life that comes from loving You.
