2. Pray Bible Promises
a) Proverbs 19:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 Many will intreat the favour of the prince: and every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts.
Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that many seek a generous man's favor, and everyone is a friend of one who gives gifts.
Lord God, cause me to cherish, and have loving concern for the needy.
b) Proverbs 19:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursueth them with words, yet they are wanting to him.
Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the poor are hated by their brethren, and their friends go far from them. They pursue them with words, but they are not responsive.
Lord God, cause me to love the brethren, especially if they are poor, and to not be neglectful of them.
