a) Proverbs 25:12 King James Version (KJV)

12 As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that a wise person giving correction to a person who wants to be obedient, is a beautiful thing.

Lord God, cause me to have a yearning for obedience, and make it a joy when I receive wise correction.

b) Proverbs 25:13 King James Version (KJV)

13 As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to them that send him: for he refresheth the soul of his masters.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the coolness of snow is refreshing on a day of hot work.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that a faithful messenger is refreshing to those who send him.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that a faithful messenger refreshes the soul of his masters.

Lord God, cause me to be a faithful messenger of Your word, and to be trustworthy in my speech.
