COMING FRESH WAVES OF ANOINTING

1. Coming Fresh Waves of Anointing

a) We are moving into a fresh new season of anointing, and in preparation, God has impressed upon my heart again that it is time for believers to prepare for the coming fresh waves of outpouring of anointing.

b) All of us start out as spiritual babies. We want everything right now. We demand answers to our smallest problems. We whine when we don’t get our way. Yet when we yield to the Holy Spirit, we gain a seasoned ability to be led by the Holy Spirit. We learn God’s timing; it is a step-by-step process of dying to our own desires and surrendering to the Father’s.

c) It begins with an ever-growing hunger and thirst for Him. The freshness of the anointing then comes supernaturally!

d) Jesus said, “If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink” (John 7:37 KJV). How hungry are you to see the power of God at work in your life? He measures your hunger by your desire to do what He wants, to seek His guidance, to surrender to His will. 

e) Anointing is the burden removing and yoke breaking power of God. Anointing is what empowers a man or a woman to function supernaturally. Anointing is that which enables you to do supernatural things.

Isaiah 10:27 (KJV)

And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder and his yoke from off they neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

f) In order to experience these fresh waves of anointing, we must properly position ourselves. Just like a surfer must position himself strategically to catch the wave at the perfect time, we also must be perfectly positioned to ride these waves of God’s anointing. The waves of anointing will elevate you and position you where you need to be when you need to be there.

g) Many have been faithful and steadfast for many seasons and even for many years. Many have been consistent and committed to the things of the Lord and in prayer without yet seeing any results or answers. Some may have been fasting and praying for the same things for many years. Get ready, because if this is you, God is about to hit you with waves of His anointing!

h) Go deep into the things of God. Stay in prayer, create a lifestyle of fasting and get in the Word. The more that you consecrate yourself, the more your anointing will grow. We must properly position and prepare ourselves with intention to steward the anointing God will give to each of us. Those who receive it are those who have been found set apart and committed for a long time. Expect waves of anointing to overtake you!
