0. Visit in Bethany (Matthew 26:6-13)
a) Chronologically, the events of Matthew 26:6-13 precede the events of Matthew 21:1ff. In Matthew 20:29, Jesus left Jericho heading toward Jerusalem. Then he arrived in Bethany, where a woman anointed him. From there he went toward Bethphage, where two of his disciples got the donkey that he would ride into Jerusalem.
