THINKING GOD'S WAY (21)
(Message by Tanny Keng)
1. Thinking God's Way
a) One of the titles of Jesus is Wonderful Counselor we always have access to listen to the heart of God by His Holy Spirit.
(Proverbs 3:5-8)
(Mark 12:30-31)
‘And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. {31} “And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

(Proverbs 3:5-8)
Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge
Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the LORD and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And
strength to your bones.
b) Your thoughts and imagination are very important because they direct your heart. Your words and actions will follow the thoughts that you have planted in your heart. The LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

So He said to them, “Are you thus without
understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from
outside cannot defile him, {19} “because it does not enter his heart but
his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?” {20} And He
said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. {21} “For from
within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries,
fornications, murders, {22} “thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit,
lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. {23} “All these
evil things come from within and defile a man.”
