THE BODY AS A TEMPLE (2)

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. Purity

a) As Christians we are called to live lives that are holy. We are to set aside the evil ways of the world and honor Christ by living in faithful obedience to His commandments.

1 Peter 1:14-16
“As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy'”

2. The Body As A Temple

Hebrews 7:26
For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest,  holy, innocent, unstained,  separated from sinners, and  exalted above the heavens.

James 1:27
That is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this:  to visit  orphans and widows in their affliction, and  to keep oneself  unstained from the world.

Psalms 24:3-4
Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD?   And who shall stand in his  holy place?  He who has  clean hands and  a pure heart,   who does not  lift up his soul to  what is false and does not swear deceitfully.

The End ...
