OVERCOMING FEAR (1)
(Message by Tanny Keng)
Isaiah 41:13
For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.”
2. Fear
Psalms 27:1
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Isaiah 54:4
Fear not, for you will not be ashamed; be not confounded, for you will not be disgraced; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.

a) Whenever we think of the word, motivation, we think of the sports world. We may have been a sports fan for our entire life. Motivation is often a big part of which team wins or looses a game. Coaches will often credit “motivation” when they win and likewise will say there was a “lack of motivation” when they loose.
b) Motivation is not something that can be measured but each of us knows exactly what it is. Sometimes we may be motivated to do things in our life and we follow through on a commitment or promise. Other times we can also feel the “lack of motivation” in our own lives.
c) The Bible is filled with words that not only challenge us but give us motivation to overcome obstacles in our lives.
