PRAY BIBLE PROMISES: 1 TIMOTHY (1)

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. Bible Prayers

a) There is no best prayer known other than to pray accordingly to His Word. This is one sure way of experiencing what His Word says in our lives as we identify and agree with what He has said in His Word.

b) There are more than 7,200 prayers in the Bible. Below are some examples that you may want to use by yourself, in a group, or be creative and pass along ways others may be able to use it.

2. Pray Bible Promises

a) 1 Timothy 1:3-4 King James Version (KJV)

As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we should not teach false doctrines, or devote ourselves to myths and endless genealogies.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that teaching false doctrines, or devoting ourselves to myths and endless genealogies, promotes controversial speculations rather than advancing Your work.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your work is advanced by faith.

b) 1 Timothy 1:5 King James Version (KJV)

Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your work is loving with a pure heart, with a good conscience, and sincere faith.

Lord, cause me to love with a pure heart, good conscience, and sincere faith.

c) 1 Timothy 1:14 King James Version (KJV)

14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

Lord, Your grace was exceedingly abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
