PRAY BIBLE PROMISES: 1 PETER (11)

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. Bible Prayers

a) There is no best prayer known other than to pray accordingly to His Word. This is one sure way of experiencing what His Word says in our lives as we identify and agree with what He has said in His Word.

b) There are more than 7,200 prayers in the Bible. Below are some examples that you may want to use by yourself, in a group, or be creative and pass along ways others may be able to use it.

2. Pray Bible Promises

a) 1 Peter 4:7 King James Version (KJV)

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the end of all things is near.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that because the end of all things is near, we should be self-controlled, and sober minded, for the purpose of our prayers.

Lord, cause me to be clear minded, sober, self controlled, and to give myself to prayer.

b) 1 Peter 5:6-7 King James Version (KJV)

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Lord God, thank You for Your instruction, to humble ourselves under Your mighty hand.

Lord God, thank You for promise, that those who humble themselves under Your mighty hand, are able to be exalted in due time.

Lord God, thank You for Your instruction, to cast all our cares upon You.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You care for us.

Lord, cause me to be humble and obedient to You, while trusting You to take care of me.
