1. Bible Prayers

a) There is no best prayer known other than to pray accordingly to His Word. This is one sure way of experiencing what His Word says in our lives as we identify and agree with what He has said in His Word.

b) There are more than 7,200 prayers in the Bible. Below are some examples that you may want to use by yourself, in a group, or be creative and pass along ways others may be able to use it.

a) Proverbs 4:12 King James Version (KJV)

¹² When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.

Lord God, thank You for this father's truth, that because his son was taught in the way of wisdom, and was led in right paths, that when his son walks, his steps will not be hindered, and when he runs, he will not stumble.

Lord God, thank You for this teaching, that is in the way of wisdom, and has led me in right paths. Cause it to keep my steps from being hindered, and to keep my feet from stumbling.

b) Proverbs 4:13 King James Version (KJV)

¹³ Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.

Lord God, thank You for this father's truth, that his son should take firm hold of instruction, and not let her go, but guard her, for she is his life.

Lord God, cause me to readily receive instruction, keep her, guard her, and not let her go, for she is my life.
