1. What does the Book of Proverbs say about Trust and Faithfulness?

a) 31 The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the LORD. (Proverbs 21:31)

b) 17 Pay attention and listen to the sayings of the wise; apply your heart to what I teach, 18 for it is pleasing when you keep them in your heart and have all of them ready on your lips. 19 So that your trust may be in the LORD, I teach you today, even you. (Proverbs 22:19)

c) 25 A greedy man stirs up dissension, but he who trusts in the LORD will prosper. (Proverbs 28:25)

d) 25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe. (Proverbs 29:25)

e) 5 Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. (Proverbs 30:5)

f) 15 Drink water from your own cistern, running water from your own well. 16 Should your springs overflow in the streets, your streams of water in the public squares? 17 Let them be yours alone, never to be shared with strangers. 18 May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. 19 A loving doe, a graceful deer - may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be captivated by her love. (Proverbs 5:15-19)
