PRAYING GOD'S WILL | GOD'S WORD (3)

1. Praying God's Will

a) What should you pray for? Scripture is clear that you should pray God's word. At the same time, you must never forget that God is sovereign and that He is not obligated to a name-it-and-claim-it theology. God will always do what is best. But at the same time you will do well to understand that when you pray God's word, you are actually praying both the mind and the perfect will of God for yourself.

b) If you follow a systematic plan of praying God's will, you will see dynamic growth take place in your life. You will become the man God intended you to be.

2. Prayer

a) Heavenly Father, Your word is such an important part of my life. I pray that it will be the same in my beloved family and that Your word will be living and sharper than any two-edged sword in our lives. I am praying Your word for Your word to be important to us. Thank You, Father, in Jesus' name, for hearing and answering my prayers. Amen.

3. God's Word

a) Matthew 24:35 New King James Version (NKJV)

35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

b) John 8:31-32 New King James Version (NKJV)

31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

c) Isaiah 30:21 New King James Version (NKJV)

21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying,
“This is the way, walk in it,”
Whenever you turn to the right hand
Or whenever you turn to the left.

d) Isaiah 55:11 New King James Version (NKJV)

11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
