a) There is no best prayer known other than to pray accordingly to His Word. This is one sure way of experiencing what His Word says in our lives as we identify and agree with what He has said in His Word.

b) There are more than 7,200 prayers in the Bible. Below are some  examples that you may want to use by yourself, in a group, or be creative and pass along ways others may be able to use it.

a) Proverbs 20:1 King James Version (KJV)

20 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that wine is a mocker, and strong drink is raging, and whoever is deceived by them is not wise.

Lord God, cause me to not misuse alcohol, or to be someone considered as not wise because of it.

b) Proverbs 20:2 King James Version (KJV)

2 The fear of a king is as the roaring of a lion: whoso provoketh him to anger sinneth against his own soul.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the fear of the king is as the roaring of a lion, and those who provoke him to anger sin against their own soul.

Lord God, cause me to submit to the authority of the government, and cause me to submit to the ordinances of man for Your sake, so as not to sin against my soul.
