1. Bible Topic

a) To learn what the Bible has to say on a variety of topics affecting our everyday lives, we may find what we are looking for here.

2. Miracles

a) Miracles are one of the ways God gives evidence of His power and authority. It’s in the Bible, Hebrews 2: 4, “God also bearing witness both with signs, and wonder, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?”

b) Miracles are to glorify God. It’s in the Bible, Matthew 9:7-8, NKJV. “And he arose and departed to his house. Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men.”

c) There is nothing that is impossible with God. It’s in the Bible, Jeremiah 32:27, NKJV. “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?”

d) Does that mean God will do any miracle I ask of Him? There is a difference between faith, and presumption. It’s in the Bible, Luke 4:9-13, NKJV. “Then he brought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here. For it is written:  ‘He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you,’ and, ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.’” And Jesus answered and said to him, “It has been said, ‘You shall not tempt the LORD your God.”
